We are sorry you had a bad experience with our company. We are a fairly new company and when you worked for us, we were just starting out. We have taken suggestions such as yours into consideration and now offer good benefits- several healthcare options, 401k, and educational reimbursement options.
We do try and pay according to industry standards, but pay is negotiated prior to hiring and people generally accept employment when the terms are agreeable to both parties. We do try and be an economical option, as we are a government contractor and must be competitive in order to win contracts. In business, it is good practice to manage costs in order to return a profit. Companies who do not do this would have a difficult time remaining viable, long-term. As we continue to grow, many more opportunities for individual growth have become available, and we now support contracts in Washington, DC; Denver, Co; Seaside, CA; and Key West, FL to name just a few. With so many options and locations, we are happy to transfer employees who apply for new positions in their current or other locations. Again, we are sorry for your experience, but have greatly improved in subsequent years.
