Pros

I worked at this company less than a year, however within the year I worked there I was given full training. I worked closely with Jamie, account manager and trainer. She is extremely knowledgable and well structured. Although her methods are tough, it's to help mold you into a great recruiter. After 2 weeks, I quickly grasped the information and tools needed to succeed in this role. Something that Jamie does really well is tracking your progress and recognizing needle movers on where to improve. Also, Debbie, the CEO/ President of the company, treats everyone as equals; everyone is given the opportunity to give feedback and learn from the senior recruiters. I've worked closely with her on many occasions when starting as a novice recruiter to learning how to source great candidates for mid level roles. The position also required self accountability and driven by personal growth. There is no cap in growth as long as you are willing to put in the hard-work. I found a few learning tools missing from the training process and Debbie was quick to listen and incorporate feedback. My curiosity and interest in new business development also opened some new doors to sourcing new clients for the company. The growth potential at DSR is truly on yourself and your willingness to build your own career. My recommendation to future hires, if you are self-driven and looking to further develop your soft skills, you can learn that at DSR. Debbie and Jamie are there as your resource to help mold your career and its a great stepping stone. I recognized that the pay structure is not ideal, but you learn invaluable skills that you can utilize in your next path.

Cons

Pay structure is on the lower end.
