Pros

I love the collaborative work environment at DigiVest. All staff including the founder are very keen on collaborating on all projects. They stress having no hierarchy and it is shown through the founder's ability to consider and execute everyone's ideas no matter your title. This is the kind of company that young people are looking for, especially when it comes to trust and responsibility. This company challenges you with the level of responsibility you are given, compared to other slow, boring, repetitive jobs.

Cons

This is a start-up, so you have to jump into the role with this mindset. This is definitely not for everyone.

Pros

- Unique recruitment process - they place high value on soft skills; and they structure their interviews with various team members (not just the potential supervisor/manager), e.g. different department/s, colleagues from same level of seniority, potential direct reports.

Cons

- Constantly changing goalposts, and this impacts the workload of the individual and overall job satisfaction. - Terrible staff retention; a lot of great people with a wealth of experience had given this place a go, but experienced toxic culture, perpetuated by the senior management. - Consistent level of instability amongst the team because they don't manage significant org changes in an appropriate manner. - Doesn't understand growth marketing, which is supposed to be their bread and butter - Senior management lacks experience - they just make up processes and best practices rather than rely on expert opinions and tried & tested formulas
