Pros

1. There are several departments in the company, employees are recommended to only communicated within their own department, it helps employees to focus on their job and hence to enhance their skills. 2. Everything is written clearly, e.g. meeting minutes, handover documents, design comments, development testing comments, project folder architecture, etc., new joiner/current employees should be easy to follow-up the project from the former employees. 3. There are non-stoppable jobs coming to the company, most clients are fully believe the company boss, but not the staff. As an employee, we are happy that there is a good relationship between the company and the client, we may still have 2nd chance if we do something a little bit wrong.

Cons

1. Discussions are only allowed within the same department, employees can only say yes to the managements' advices. As a creativity agency, there is no chance to come up for an idea among employees. 2. When working in this small company, the overall atmosphere is stressful, you never know which words/sentences will be transferred to the management/boss, even jokes are not allowed, you need to be very careful to say anything in the company. 3. This company keeps expanding the size and hunting for new-joiners, but most of them cannot stay for 3 months, and the overall team is still very young, only a few employees have been worked for over 2 years in this company. Management will not teach the new-joiners on the usual practise in this company, when there are something wrong and complained by the clients, they will only share the responsibilities to the new-joiners, that's why the company boss always maintain a good image to the clients.

Pros

I have been working here for over a year, and the biggest advantage is the exposure to massive, enterprise-level digital transformation projects. You get hands-on experience with real user research, focus groups, and user interviews, which is rare for many agencies in Hong Kong. It’s a young, energetic team, and management gives us a lot of ownership over our work. The boss comes from a strong UX background. While his feedback is incredibly detail-oriented (which might surprise people not used to strict design standards!), it genuinely pushes you to grow and elevates the quality of the final product. Also, the company recently moved to a much bigger, newly renovated office. The setup is great, and everyone got new adjustable standing desks, which is a huge plus for all colleague sitting all day. Good flexibility overall with WFH and allowance claims.

Cons

To be totally transparent, there was a period where a small group of former colleagues created a lot of unnecessary drama and office politics. They seemed to spend more time gossiping and complaining rather than taking advantage of the great learning opportunities and benefits the company provides, which I believe is where some of the highly exaggerated negative reviews online are coming from. The great news is that those individuals have already moved on, and the current team culture is much healthier and focused on the work. Also, just as a reality check regarding the internal policies—as long as you follow the standard procedures and apply properly, getting approval for WFH, annual leave, or expense claims is straightforward. I’ve personally never had an issue with any of it.

Pros

The culture is quite open, and people are generally supportive if you want to try new ideas. You also get the chance to be involved in different tasks, which helps you gradually build up your experience. Working hours are fairly flexible, and there is a WFH arrangement, which makes it easier to manage your schedule.

Cons

Sometimes client directions can be a bit unclear, so it may take extra time to align internally with the team.
