Pros

An outstanding place to work with incredibly friendly staff! The company works as a team so there's no bickering over clients. They make you feel like family and the morale is exceptionally positive. The work is fun and rewarding!

Cons

Cons? Well they feed us twice a week with Publix chicken tenders and subs, then pizza on Fridays. I guess the only con is I've gained some weight! Thanks Diamond Tours!

Pros

Diamond Tours is selective in who they hire. It has created a work environment of experienced tour operators who help each other. It’s an open door, team setting. The salary is good but tour managers live for the bonuses, which can be substantial. If you take on more tours and work within budget (on the elements of the tour that you set up) you can make a ton. In that sense you have some control of growing your bonus checks. You must have hospitality in your blood and enjoy solving problems, which inevitably come up in travel. There are many tour mangers at Diamond Tours who have been there over 5 years and really love their job. It’s hard work, but it’s well worth it.

Cons

You can get calls outside of office hours when things arise on one of your tours out on the road.

Pros

The Company mission is to provide quality and affordable travel for seniors on a fixed income. The feedback we get from group leaders by phone calls, cards, letters and pictures makes you feel great about what we do. The work can be a little stressful at times but the environment is always upbeat and fun. From the games during slow times like office mini golf and suction darts, to the lunches on Tuesday and Wednesday. The quarterly birthday celebrations with cake and the holiday decorations (not just Christmas and Halloween). Little contests throughout the year sponsored by you know who. She’s great by the way. If you know you know. I have been with the Company 8 years and I feel everyone here is like family to me. Even reminded me of certain family members from day 1. We have employees who have been her for over 30 years. That in itself says a lot. I plan on staying until I retire and I know many others that feel the same way.

Cons

During busy times (approx 6 months of the year) we work some extra hours, but the payout is worth it. If you don’t keep up with your work and work ahead it WILL catch up to you.
