Pros

A lot of smart people and great teammates.

Cons

Very stressful works. Constantly fighting fires. The release process alone makes me want to leave. It's very manual and tedious, therefore, very mistake-prone. It could take more than 10 hours to do one release for one customer environment, and more than 1 year for a new feature to be released to all customers. And this is for a SaaS company running agile process. Job title and promotion process make no senses, and lack of transparency. A year ago, job titles were lower than the market, so many employees I knew were hired into a lower position. Recently a new "staff" level was added, and recent new hires are getting higher level of job tile than veteran employees. Old employees have to work a lot harder to get promoted than new hires. Executives decided to follow suit of local tech companies like Amazon and Microsoft to require local employees return to office. However, unlike Amazon and Microsoft, we have the same if not more employees remote than local, so local employees would just waste hours in traffic with Amazon and Microsoft employees, come to office to have video conference with remote teammates. Many managers, including CTO, is remote. Parking situation is very inconvenient. Most onsite parking spots are reserved for managers who are willing to pay a monthly fee.

Pros

Competitive pay, remote work opportunities, decent benefits. On a deeper level, DexCare has revamped their leadership with an eye on fixing some of the things that weren't working. This means there is suddenly a lot of support for doing things right, both from a technical and organization standpoint.

Cons

No 401(k) match or ability to do in-plan Roth rollovers.
