Pros

Great Atmosphere, great people, management gets it. The past 2 years have been a big focus on the customer, the product and making this a great place to work. There is a lot of time spent on making this a great place to work . Love the town hall monthly meetings

Cons

I like a constant challange and being held accountable, but people are asked to leave because they dont deliver. Or people quit becuase they dont like the pressure of having to work hard and perforrm. Would be nice if there was more opportunity for upward mobility.

Pros

You learn what *not* to do to be successful as a company.

Cons

Everything else. No one listens to employees, customers, or the market. The only one who seems to have any real power is the chief product officer, who has spent the last few years building a "revolutionary" product that has customers running for the hills. They've officially been de-listed from the Nasdaq. I saw this coming from a mile away, which is why I jumped ship years ago. The CPO is obsessed with this "new" platform, which is actually just a slight modification of his more-than-decade-old, homemade PHP monstrosity that even outsourced engineering hacks won't touch. The only profitable part of the business was Iasta, but within two years of that acquisition, they had either fired or chased off all of that talent. They were *actually* working on a brand new piece of technology that would have made customers' lives easier. Unfortunately, the CPO's ego got in the way of that, and the CEO's obliviousness and ignorance promoted the behavior. Add in a bumbling, useless CIO and you have Determine as it exists today. From talking with current and former employees, the CEO is absolutely not interested in listening to anyone's opinions. Don't believe the novels he writes in responses to other reviews on here. I know from personal experience that any opinions differing from his or the CPO's might as well be written on feces-smeared, crumpled pieces of paper at the bottom of a burn pile. Don't just take my word for it... their performance over the past few years is evidence enough.
