Pros
I started my career working at Destination Homes when it was just getting off the ground. I experienced doing work in several different departments. Owners are great business men and even better people. They are interested in the development of all of their employees and they allowed me to carve out the best job position for myself based on my skills and experience. After working 5 years for the company, I took a different job and a different company for another 5 years. A new position with appealing projects opened up at Destination Homes and I decided to return to the company. Doing what I do best, great company culture, and a great work environment keep me excited about coming to work. Several employees have left this company to pursue other opportunities and have come back for the similar reasons.
Cons
The size of the company is purposely kept small. This can limit vertical movement within the organization.
