Pros

They give the interns their own project to own and lead throughout the summer. They are focused on teaching and helping the intern develop technical skills within a workplace environment. Everyone is helpful and kind.

Cons

I have nothing negative to share about my experience

Pros

Salary level was above average for a fringe metro area city.

Cons

- Mass confusion abound: company is managed by below average ex-ADC executives and long term Despatch employees that presided over a company with a shaky history. They talk strategic planning and process implementation, but nothing gets done. Everything's a firedrill. - Out of date data and missing documentation: it's a wonder this company is still around. It's almost like you're looking for the upcoming weekend's weather report on a newspaper that's dated five years earlier. Jobs get delayed due to incorrect/missing documentation and it flows from the top down if a delivery date to a customer's missed (i.e. Ready, Fire, Aim). - Antique ERP system: forget about using SAP or Oracle here. This company runs on a 10 year old version of Epicor (apparently no one ever updated the system). Everything's run on spreadsheets (true, most day to day work in most firms is done by extracting system data and dumping it into Excel). Here it's a necessity, due to not being able to extract the required data. Where there is automation available, most groups neglect to use it. There's no interdepartmental sharing of data. Very old-school mindset here. - Dumpy office space: the office facilities needs a complete refresh.
