Pros

Was a great place to work. Felt like a family. Taking time off was not villified. Had great core values. Working was genuniely fun. I worked with some of the most creative and friendly people ever.

Cons

Had to fight for any sort of pay bump while doing the work of 2-3 people. Near the end of my time there was a large round of surprise layoffs that were handled very poorly. When I tried to meet with management about it I was told I was "weaponizing the core values against the company." The layoffs culled a large majority of the women which felt off. I ultimately couldn't trust the management and had to leave.

Pros

If there are any, its WFH

Cons

CEO's pep talks are fruitless. The biggest threat to workplace culture isn't lazy employees, it's toxic managers, kept in power by senior leadership that won't take responsibility. Not everyone on staff is entitled or underperforming. They're just trying to survive under leadership that's been allowed to rot from the inside out. These managers aren't just untrained, they're also unchecked. Promoted from output, protected from accountability, and shielded from all the consequences of their actions. They lead with fear, favoritism, and fragile egos. Poor communications and terrible morale aren't employee issues; they're symptoms of a culture that protects dysfunction at the top. Stop blaming the staff, and start asking why the most harmful people are the ones who still have a job
