- Not much brand recognition, the best people (especially at the junior- and mid-levels) quit
- Mid- and Partner-level staff. Quality at the top is a major, major issue here, especially with the Partners. No robust suggestions on a case, limited knowledge of the deeper issues and a complete inability to understand context. Some are outright aggressive and unpleasant to work with
- Cultural *preferences* - if you are not part of the Catalan group (or can't speak Spanish), then forget it, you are done here. There is simply no way through, regardless of how well you perform on challenging cases. You will hear a lot of people saying that is no longer the case, but believe me, it still is...
- Some cases are in dangerous locations - simply can't believe that the management team haven't understood risk profiling yet (goes back to the second point)
