7yHello, we are aware of this employee and it was made clear upon his first day that he misrepresented himself during the interview process.
He claimed to understand the indutry and basics of the field (which were critical for both the training process and the job itself), upon starting it was made clear that he did not understand nor know about the industry or the basic terms.
A company cannot be held responsible for an unhappy ex-employee if said employee does not represnet their knowledge, capabilities and experience correctly upon interview. Training period is a standard, however training efficacy is contingent on basic understanding of department and category.
Also, benefits and terms are always made clear from the begining during interview and negotiation process. If a candidate is unhappy with the wage, they are not forced to accept the position. Also, all job offers are sent by email. There are no positions that are not made in writing. In regards to bonuses and profit sharing, this person worked for a couple of days and unfortunately was not a good fit. It is not customary in any company to provide bonuses nor profit sharing to a starting employee who has not passed a "trial" period.
