Pros
The mission of this organization — to promote financial literacy and guide clients as they reduce unsecured debt — is very important. There are some truly superb employees here: hardworking, personable, kind, and dedicated to their clients’ success. I’d even call a few of them “rock stars” who are a credit to this organization, eager to share their knowledge of very complex software; just wonderful people. Also, the deli in the next building is fantastic, with great vegan options.
Cons
While the trainer is good at training, her interpersonal and communications skills need improvement. Her treatment of staff, especially new hires, is inconsistent at best and abusive at worst. IT staff is arrogant, with one person communicating poorly and often inappropriately. There is favoritism, overt at times, and some subtle but evident racism in the office.
