Pros
Decent way to get your foot in the door for the logistics/trucking industry. The experience you get at Daylight you can take to any of the major trucking and logistics companies.
Cons
You aren't an actual employee of Daylight. You're a temp worker contracted to Daylight through an agency, even the guys working on the dock for 15 years are technically temps. The benefits are crap and you have to hound them to actually get the benefits they promise you in the interview. Managers will treat you like garbage unless you've worked there for years. The dock itself is hectic and freight gets damaged easily because the terminal is way too small for the amount of freight going through there, it's an OSHA nightmare. Job is pretty stressful because they pretty much demand you pull off miracles on a nightly basis while working with a dock that's way too tiny and equipment that barely works and is always busted.
