Pros

The staff at Daybreak are dedicated to the mission of providing Miami Valley unhoused youth and young adults with services that promote safety, stability, and well-being. Every day you can come to work and know that you are making a difference in kids' lives.

Cons

We work were our youth live, so we must be prepared for anything at all times.

Pros

Early-stage, self-funded startup led by a proven all-star team that built a unicorn in 2.5 years. The company’s processes are modeled after their previous success, ensuring a strong foundation and a clear blueprint for growth. Easy ramp-up with a product that sells itself- OTE is accurate and attainable. The company does a great job hiring based on potential and success in other areas rather than just experience, and they back this with smart, effective training. No cold calling—leads are very warm, with generally nice and happy people to work with. Healthy pipeline with a high conversion rate, making it easier to hit targets. Daily coaching directly from the CEO and a great culture both within the sales team and across the company. Fast growth opportunities with a clear path for advancement as the company scales rapidly. Perfect environment for competitive individuals who are willing to grind and thrive in a high-performance, results-driven workplace.

Cons

Limited employee perks and benefits compared to larger, more established companies. High accountability and intense competition can create a stressful work environment. The fast-paced, results-driven culture isn’t for everyone—those who don’t thrive in this setting may find it difficult to stay long-term. But for those who do, it’s an incredibly rewarding opportunity.

Pros

Meaningful mission and high-impact work. A great place for those deeply committed to advocacy and the mentorship.

Cons

High Attrition: 13 staff members leaving in less than a year Operational Instability: Sudden changes to benefits and a lack of condensed administrative processes (too many meetings) detract from client care. Wellness & Boundaries: There is a critical lack of training regarding client boundaries, leading to systemic compassion fatigue and burnout. Structural Silos: A lack of collaboration between Case Managers and Case Aides hinders team efficiency. Lack of clinical oversight -- Untrained staff have been made front-line responders to severe mental health crisis
