Pros
-They sponsor your licenses -They give almost anyone a chance -More than respectable first year salary and study stipend
Cons
-Very limited product selection -Very low retention rate -Way out of date technology system -Misrepresented the scope of the job -Zero lead generation -Limited potential for growth -Too many restrictions on how to promote yourself -Negative name recognition -Too much hands own control by family -Most of the investment advisors are just glorified salesmen forced to push the flavor of the month investment that may not be suitable to their clients -The old man is too hands on, tries to micromanage everyone. -Tony may be a good salesman and is somewhat fair, but not a good manager of others. Does very little managing and his personality can be harsh and abrasive at times which can rub some the wrong way.
