Pros
The leadership given by the partners and whole team at Daversa is unparalleled to other companies out there. They foster growth of young students who come out of college and provide an environment where employees are pushed to think outside the box and develop their own personal style. Daversa is really a special place where your able to grow as an individual and feel and see the visible (positive) differences in yourself when you look back on who you were when you first started. The content of work is always interesting and extremely relevant to current industry trends. The management style is fast paced but is built on the values of coaching and mentoring in order to ensure success in each employee . Its a never ending learning and training process at Daversa. I have been working here for multiple years now and every year the company somehow finds a way to get better and better. The benefits provided are top knotch, daversa has a great company culture and team activities that continuously support / instill the admirable values that Daversa was built on. The training and development is unmatched in the industry and quite possibly the best in the country across executive recruitment and technology. Diversity and inclusion is always top of mind- 60% of the firm is made up of strong female business executives which is valued, being a young women in business. Mental and physical health are valued, there is an office gym and yoga classes that come to the office , and the value of work life balance is stressed by senior leadership.
Cons
Some may say work life balance is a con here but in reality, the best jobs where you learn the most and your constantly challenging yourself, are the jobs where they are time consuming and yes, the world of technology doesnt unplug or shut off. but finding the balance is something you learn in terms of how to unplug and create a lifestyle that works around your work schedule. I've found a groove and routine that works great for me and is supported by the leadership team.
