Pros
Sure a company that’s been around for over a century is going to be able to survive with or without you, but Darigold never makes its employees feel like we don’t matter and once we’re hired on we’ve got a job for life. As long as you do your job and don’t abuse their kindness (showing up late, cutting corners, taking supplies home) you don’t have to worry about a thing. They’re good about conducting annual reviews on time and in my over 10 years of working here I’ve never NOT received a raise after an annual review. The benefits are fantastic and now that I’m typing it all out I really can’t see what anyone would have to complain about.
Cons
Like I said, I honestly don’t see what there is to complain about. It may not be the “dream job” but it pays the bills and you’re valued and treated with respect.
