Pros
Tips are usually faily well. Have been there a few years and it is easy to make friends with some of the other servers... Being a server for olive Garden has made me a far more outgoing person due to haveing to try to sell wine to each one of your tables. We have some managers who understand what it is like to be a single mom and work but then others dont seem to know what it is like so i guess it is the same as with other restraunts in that since. Overall i wouldnt leave it to go some where else though.
Cons
99% yearly turnover of staff and managers so rules are always changing. All the rules are made up by the Gm so if you get put in a new store where the gm is always changing it is sometimes hard to know what is expected of you. Schedualing is also very hard because you want to work the busy shift just as everyone else so it is sometimes hard to work the hours that you want. Also the busy time is in the evenings so it doesnt leave much time for family if you do manage to work the hours which you will make the most money during
