Good communication in the company, with smart, strategic leaders. Lean (sometimes too lean), and opportunities to develop your skills and advance. Many are busy in their daily roles to take time to develop, and so this leads to very long work hours to make up for any time spent in development. DBS has great tools to learn and apply for all levels and businesses. Benefits are good overall but vary between operating companies, and corporate. Each has their own benefits. All employees of Danaher do not have the same benefits. Best thing: Danaher Corporate has comprehensive medical benefits with many plans choose from and multiple providers and healthcare networks. Includes reproductive benefits, optional pet insurance and extras. Everyone can find a suitable plan for their needs. Very good prescription coverage. Good dental and vision insurance.
Cons
Worst thing: Corporate Employees do not get any sick days. You are only covered if you need disability, otherwise you must use your PTO/ vacation time. You may work long hours, and at the end of the day, the data is what matters.
