Pros

The CEO is not James Kamsickas anymore. Its Bruce McDonald. Engineers are talented. So, its a good opportunity to learn within your group. Technically strong but poor managerial skills.

Cons

1. Lots of layoffs without any prior notice due to company's poor financial performance. 2. No job security. The commitments made by even the head of HR was not fulfilled. Targeting internationals during layoffs. 3. Manager / Technical specialist are the worst. Most of them never support their team members or back during tuff situations. 4. Really spineless leadership to even confront and share the truth, and poor leadership. Good work is not recognized. 5. No support in the areas where you need help.

Pros

Hard to be fired, good benefits, double time Sundays.

Cons

No room to grow. Pay scale is a tier system based on a union contract that we negotiate every 3-5 years and the raises are never more than a dollar or two. They offer apprenticeships that you only get if you are related to someone and have some kind of friend up front. Qualifications mean nothing you learn more you do more and get paid less than then the tier 1 employees which makes the newer highers also not want to work so you will be in limbo working harder for nothing.
