Pros

Pay is competitive for adjuncts

Cons

They have cut and cut and cut education thanks to “a consulting company” so they can bloat admin pay and make more management, all the while cutting the vital staff and educational support people who actually make a difference. They’ve taken away our resources and expect us to work miracles, and they treat us like trash, like we are not human beings. People who worked there for decades had to reapply for their same job at lower salaries. Absolutely garbage. They broke up all our PLCs and work groups and randomly assign us to work with strangers every semester, reinventing the wheel every. single. semester, over and over. Randomly assigning people to work 40 miles away from where they live instead of at their home campus. They make ridiculous, unsustainable schedules and then can’t understand why they can’t find anyone to teach the courses. It’s a festering, hot mess.
