Pros

There are no pros. People stay cause they can't find a job elsewhere but NOBODY likes working here

Cons

no 401k contribution. Ins choices stink, raises are paltry if at all ($.14-$.50) always pushing to clock in and out on time. Cut hours and pay with no notice. Run like a spending club for management. Corporate culture...BARF!!!!! That moron CEO gets to dress up like a knight and shout inane statement. The compliance is a joke and is presented at a five year old level. This place will make you stupid. Very little focus on the science of kidney failure tons of crap on being a good Davita employee. All charting programs run on DOS. In short this company lives for and at the mercy of the bottom line while the CEO made $23 mil salary last year.

Pros

Stable company to work for with great benefits. DaVita offers tuition reimbursement, so it pays to go back to school and get a degree. They also help with career advancement and development.

Cons

If you are new to dialysis, it may take a while to reach a decent wage. You are required to work 12 hour shifts, mostly on your feet, and managers will always look to add to your workload.

Pros

Management supports a work-life balance, hours are flexible, okay benefits. Good training opportunities and there is effort by management to support a good work culture. 6 weeks at 80% of pay Paternity/Maternity & Adoption leave. 401K with 6% matching. For 2 adults, we pay for Davita's Anthem BCBS healthcare plan and it is $350/month (4,700 deductible).

Cons

Payscale isn't aggressive - 1% raise each year. You also may be asked to cover other clinics temporarily without fair compensation for the extra workload.
