Pros

The downtown Denver area is awesome! Company headquarters are awesome! The company’s intent is admirable! Their delusion that they are creating an amazing atmosphere and developmental opportunities for teammates is interesting!

Cons

Lower on the salary scale with small raises They use GSD (get stuff done) as a measurement in your review to push you to the breaking point but then preach work/life alignment and fulfillment They hire teammates and fast track them into leadership without coaching them thus creating a lot of unqualified leaders who frustrate those who work for them They promote based on favoritism and “same as me” mentality You are encouraged to speak up and provide feedback but you’d better do that exactly how “they” would do it or you’re wrong Everyone is expected to be a perfectionist but they preach safe space for errors You are expected to read your leader’s mind because they haven’t been coached enough yet in any of the leadership academies/classes (DWOM, DWOL) on how to communicate well Unless you are in the right age bracket, you are ignored and don’t receive support for your career goals unless you are already at or beyond a certain level And... there’s no such thing as diversity and belonging at DaVita - that’s corporate speak for trying to keep themselves out of EEOC complaints

Pros

Management supports a work-life balance, hours are flexible, okay benefits. Good training opportunities and there is effort by management to support a good work culture. 6 weeks at 80% of pay Paternity/Maternity & Adoption leave. 401K with 6% matching. For 2 adults, we pay for Davita's Anthem BCBS healthcare plan and it is $350/month (4,700 deductible).

Cons

Payscale isn't aggressive - 1% raise each year. You also may be asked to cover other clinics temporarily without fair compensation for the extra workload.
