Pros
* great supervisors, managers, and department heads * great inter-departmental communication * small number of employees * fun days on the floor or in the classroom Honestly, this is the best place I have worked for the culture and inclusivity. If this is the type of work you want to do, it's a good place to start.
Cons
The board clearly has no idea how the center functions, what they do, or how they do it. DSC has had a number of resignations lately because promotions or pay increases get dangled in front of people, but the board will not approve these necessary positions or takes forever to do so, in which time they lose valuable people. There is no clear upward mobility in the company, and even less now with the new building being planned with no real idea of how it's going to be run. Those who are left often get stuck with doing the jobs of multiple people, because DSC cannot attract people with their low pay rates and limited upward mobility.
