This company is a textbook example of what happens when leadership prioritizes appearances over substance. The core values are just words on a wall—there's no real accountability to live by them. In fact, the people who rise through the ranks often seem to be the ones who contradict those values the most.
HR is particularly troubling. I witnessed firsthand how confidential complaints were forwarded to the very people they were about, leading to retaliation, damaged relationships, and a chilling effect across the organization. There's no real trust in the system. Reporting issues feels more like self-sabotage than a step toward resolution.
Management tends to reward narcissistic behavior—those who micromanage, take credit for others’ work, and create toxic team dynamics seem to thrive. Meanwhile, those who are collaborative, transparent, and genuinely invested in building a better workplace get ignored or pushed out.
