One of the things I appreciate most is the culture. There is a strong sense of constructive accountability, and employees are trusted to take ownership of their responsibilities. Management has always been receptive to ideas and feedback, and I've had opportunities to contribute to improvements within my local branch. DXP strikes a balance that works well for me: it is highly results-driven without being overly bureaucratic. Although it is a large publicly traded company, local branches often maintain a personal, family-business atmosphere. Employees wear many hats, which creates opportunities to learn different aspects of the business and develop a broad skill set.
