Pros

DXC Technology as a company is a good place to work - from a technology perspective, but not culture. There is allot of variety of roles and positions. One could work for 20 years and get good exposure to multiple interesting technologies.

Cons

DXC Technology is suffering from multiple internal cancers, and is therefore not a pleasant place to work. Here are some examples: Employee benefits are eroding at an amazing pace, year after year getting less and paying more. Compensation growth is limited to middle management and up. Middle management receives annual bonuses of 10-15%, while subordinates are told year after year that budgets are too tight to issue increases or bonuses. Rolling layoffs are routine event. Right before a workforce reduction event management freezes internal job reqs, so that when the victims are notified there is nowhere to go but out. 20, 25, 30 year veterans are frequently among the WFR victims. There is no respect for tenure. Some office software (Visio) and Adobe software used to be available to employees to do there jobs, but now one must plead with mgmt for an exception to use them. If you are WFRed, the severance DXC Technology offers is a slap in the face. (7-8 weeks, even for employees with over 35 years of loyalty) Employee morale has slipped to new lows. Rumblings run rampant about when the next WFR event will happen and who do you know who has been axed recently.

Pros

Company just born out of a merger of CSC and the old EDS spun off by HPE Seems to be a good match of size and capabilities A lot more business opportunities, a much larger sales and delivery capability Great people in the trenches, smart, talented, experienced Stock price through the roof for three years straight...but options no longer given out to employees Brilliant CTO

Cons

Same CEO as CSC, which means no raises or bonuses, constant cutting (value retention) Drive for more off-shoring, landed resources (Indians brought to America on bogus visa justifications, for six month intervals). Replacing people with software as fast as possible Replacing experienced people with inexperienced people as fast as possible Ridiculous sales goals set by people who have never sold anything in their lives
