Pros

The office space was beautiful and I met some great people.

Cons

You are expected to give up your personal life completely. There is significant male favoritism. Getting to know your coworkers is a difficult task because of the rate of turnover in the company. In a period of 6 months - a third of the company quit. If you are considering taking a position with this company...you should ask why.

Pros

DOAR has a unique culture. Not only is there a full bar (beer, wine, top shelf liquor) which is used by the employees, but music is usually playing throughout the day. Music is selected by the employees through the WiFi enabled Sonos system. The entire office is wireless. Every employee has a 'desk' but is free to move and sit anywhere in the office as needed. The kitchen is completely stacked with cereals, snacks, fruit, yogurt, carrots, dips, coffee creamers, iced coffee etc... all at no cost to employees. There is also a ping pong table which typically gets used on Fridays during the office happy hour. There are many office happy hours and employee team building events which are usually fun and well attended. It's a casual environment and jeans are the norm year round unless you are meeting with a client.

Cons

DOAR is a boutique firm. You are expected to be responsive to the client, even if its at 9pm at night on a Saturday. At times the work can interfere with family life, and you need to be prepared to accept that's the way it is.
