Pros

Top-notch engineering professionals. I have never seen this many PhD Engineers in this size of business.

Cons

Nothing that I can remember. Not for everyone, though.

Pros

I wanted to write this review because what has been said about the Marketing team in another comment is unfair and seems to come from someone who spent too little time here to truly understand the environment. I have been part of the Marketing team at DMF for years, and I would be a fool to stay here if the environment were as bad as described. My manager has always been understanding, ready to listen, willing to teach, and has given me the space I needed to grow professionally. I have never been yelled at or had my time counted by the minute — but I also know what it means to be professional and to show up when it’s needed. The COO is not your typical “sit in the corner office” type. He is very passionate, hardworking, and likes to be involved. Yes, he expects a lot from everyone, but that’s because he wants the best for the company and the people in it. He is also very willing to teach and share his knowledge, which has helped me grow. His leadership has built excellent teams and driven the company’s fast growth, and this says it all. The office environment is focused, which I appreciate because it allows me to concentrate on my work without constant distractions. In fact, we recently had a discussion with the younger members of the team about this, and they all confirmed they value the focused environment. Some even take advantage of the booth we have on our first floor to enjoy an even quieter space when they need full concentration. That said, collaboration happens often when needed, and people are always willing to share ideas or help solve problems, which is exactly why being in the office, rather than working from home on key days, helps keep our teamwork strong and communication seamless. I’ve been part of the Marketing team since 2022. Some of my teammates have been here since the pandemic, and the newest members joined as additions to the team—not replacements. This reflects the strong growth we’re experiencing and the exciting new opportunities being created (6 new position in the last 2 years) So, claims about high turnover don’t reflect the reality of the team, but rather seem to come from a lack of honesty or from someone wanting to leave a negative comment without having real data to back it up. If you’re looking for a relaxed job with minimal expectations, this might not be the right fit. But if you want to be challenged, learn from experienced leaders, and be part of a team that’s achieving great results, DMF is a place where you can thrive.

Cons

As the company has grown quickly, there have been some growing pains — processes are still evolving, and adapting to new ways of working can take adjustment. With many projects happening at the same time and multiple departments involved, communication can occasionally be a challenge. During major launches, the workload can also be heavier than usual — but this comes with the territory in a fast-growing company.

Pros

Not sure if there are many besides the coffee machine and the tacos on Tuesday. The people are nice with the exception of company management.

Cons

DMF doesn’t have their employees backs full stop. Management has big egos that affects their decision making. Micromanagement on a whole new level here. The COO can be aggressive in the way he handles issues he has - be prepared to be yelled at. You can hear a pin drop in this office that’s how quiet it is. Strict on hours — if you leave before a certain time you will hear about it, even if you have completed everything you possibly could. No work life balance found here and strict about anything related to work from home - no Mondays or Fridays allowed. High turnover likely due to the toxicity.
