Pros
- Possibility to share with very high level scientists and Engineers. - Opportunities to access resources from ongoing breakthrough research - Great team. Friendly and supportive. Good camaraderie. - VERY supportive, with most things.
Cons
- Wages aren't great. Private industry pays orders of magnitude better. - Students were not allowed to work more than 10hrs/week. Making it impossible to live without a second job. - The levels of bureaucracy are a bit out of proportion. Nothing can be done without filling forms, and signing documents. Excessive.
