Pros
- DJI's products are absolutely fantastic. - Business prospects are not too bad. Products are selling like sliced bread and the overall margin is fantastic.
Cons
Do not join DJI! - The company has laid-off a massive amount of its workforce during 2020. Technically nobody got fired but people were asked to resign in exchange for severance packages. The company has rejected all claims by media that this is happening but just walk through the floors and you see half of the seats empty. - Completely top-down approach. Don't believe that flat-hierarchy verbiage they tell you during interviews. - Changes its "strategy" every quarter or even every month. Whole teams get shifted around like ping-pong balls non-stop. - Budget gets thrown at you like there is no tomorrow and one week later it gets frozen to zero. - A lot of internal fighting between minor department leaders. Massive politics. - Micromanagement, micromanagement, micromanagement. - People just stop caring after 6-12 months with the company.
