Pros
The team is nice, laid back environment, profit sharing (vested in 20 percent increments over 5 years) which is given out as Dish stock and placed in your retirement account, 401(k) match up to 3%, Paid time off in lieu of holidays, ESPP, HSA, Education Assistance Program, and extremely cheap Dish, Sling, and Boostmobile plans for personal use.
Cons
The insurance is the worst I've seen in all of my employment. Much like many other companies they have a High deductible plan, but their plan forces you to pay $5,000 out-of-pocket before they'll cover 30% of your costs. And their max out-of-pocket is $12,000. And United Healthcare will dispute just about every claim you submit. They don't even offer medical until you've been there for 3 months, leaving you and your family to just risk getting sick or injured. While the team level is good, the management is pretty bad. Annual raises are mostly non-existent, and when they do give raises they don't keep up with inflation. They have an education assistance program, but they don't cover fees or taxes so it doesn't actually cover as much as you'd hope. They're extremely cheap, and will be happy to budget their projects by subtracting from your pay and benefits.
