Pros
You will never be bored. Frustrated, yes, but never bored.
Cons
There are no mature processes and therefore lots of chaos/tribal knowledge on how things happen; getting almost anything done is a struggle. There are tons of dead wood throughout the organization who are only trying to keep their paychecks coming in. Company matching contributions to 401k require one year of service for eligibility and are only paid annually in March, what a joke. Salaries are very weak and benefits are an afterthought. Bonuses and raises do not reflect performance ratings. Bonus is now based 80% on corporate performance and 20% on department level goals. There's no chance for recognition of individual contribution. The exodus has begun.
