Cons
All of the "training" was done online. The HR lady had me hit "task complete" for hands-on activities I was supposed to do to help learn the store and my responsibilities. Every associate in the store is also trained on a register as a cashier incase they need back up. Even though I was assured I would be SHADOWING on my first day in my department on a busy Sunday, I was left alone 20 minutes after entering the store. I was not taught basic things that I needed to know such as what keys i needed to get before my shift, where to get a hand held walkie, when my break was (I ended up missing mine), and how to even enter the store since my shift started when the store was opening. When I walked in, there was a meeting going on I had no knowledge about and was looked down upon for not being at. Very much pressure from store managers to sell sell sell to the customers. The amount of hours you will receive is based on your performance with getting customers to fill out surveys and sign up for credit cards. Do not apply here!
