Pros

Typical Tech Company perks such as free cereal, kombucha, food parties, decent facility, and food truck's on Thursday. There is a very nice mix of people working here. The benefits are okay but are not the best. Salary/commission is competitive but the commission plan is changed annually and usually for the worst.

Cons

The sales department at DAT offers zero room for growth nor upward mobility. There are folks there that have been working in the same exact position 4, 5, 10+ years. It is a great entry-level position for someone who wants to get some real world experience in sales but not much else. Don't expect to be able to grow within this department because it rarely if ever happens and the folks with the longest tenure in this department will concur with this statement. Aside from being a dead-end position, it's a call center environment so be prepared to take and make call after call after call, micro-managed, and overworked during your 40 hour weeks. If the call center environment is not what you envisioned yourself in then you probably wont appreciate it; it becomes extremely mundane in a short amount of time. You have to work one Saturday every 2-3 months which everyone hates to do and seniority rules here so the newbie to the team will get the last pick of what Saturday they're able to work. Overall, the only circumstances I would recommend working here is if you're applying to get entry level experience (and getting out within a year) or you're applying for some sort of tech related position. Either way, the turn-over rate seems very high at this company with folks leaving left and right on a weekly basis.

Here's a rewritten review: > 1 Star My experience at DAT Solutions was extremely stressful and disappointing. Management and supervisors often presented themselves as supportive, but I frequently felt that business priorities came before employee well-being. The workload was often overwhelming, and I felt there was little concern for work-life balance. The environment could be very political at times, and I experienced situations where coworkers were not always supportive or collaborative. The company also has a significant global workforce, which may impact opportunities and team dynamics depending on your role. In my opinion, leadership within Product Support II and the Specialist teams was one of the most challenging aspects of working there. Communication, recognition, and employee support did not meet my expectations. Overall, this was one of the most stressful places I've worked, and I would not recommend it based on my personal experience. This version is more likely to be accepted by review sites because it focuses on your experience rather than making claims that may be difficult to verify.
