Pros
-Very friendly fellow staff members -i was given long hours and shifts -Good career growth to duty manager/manager -customers are generally very nice -The most flexible rostering i have ever experienced which is perfect for any uni students
Cons
-Lots and lots of work to do involving multitasking as the store is severely understaffed to cut costs -unfortunately, favouritism does occur. If you are liked by your manager., you get more shifts. -if you do not perform well in upselling at registers, you will get less shifts -Managers hire heaps of people just to set up for the store. When a new store opens, as there are too many people being hired, 2/3 of the employees get no shifts unless you impress your manager really well in the store set up. -higher management expects too much and the best from you even when the store is understaffed -no benefits -very tiring
