The company claimed they were letting employees go due to market conditions, I was terminated during my third trimester, just weeks before my due date. Although they never explicitly stated it was because of my pregnancy, the manager frequently asked about my due date and maternity leave plans. The timing felt shady and deliberate, making the experience both unexpected and deeply upsetting.
