Management & Leadership: The CEO runs this like a dictatorship. Decisions are made on whim with zero strategy or vision, and when things inevitably fail, leadership deflects blame rather than taking accountability. It's a family-owned business where senior positions are filled by cronies who've been around for decades, not people with actual merit or leadership capability. The CIO and Associate Directors are spineless yes-men who spend more time monitoring when you arrive, how often you stand up, and who you talk to than actually contributing to product or strategy. Micromanagement is the norm. Expect the CEO to schedule meetings at 11 PM and move them last minute on a whim. Unethical Practices: They make employees sign bonds requiring you to stay for a specified period or pay penalties up to 1 million PKR if you leave early. This is a massive red flag. They also AstroTurf Glassdoor with fake positive reviews to hide the reality. Culture: Sexism and casual harassment are tolerated among senior leadership. Gaslighting is a core competency here. Overtime isn't optional, it's expected. The work environment is depressing, you have to literally work in a windowless building, Clueless HR, and mid-tier development talent at best.
