Pros
You get to meet some interesting people, or you would if you were allowed to talk to them. You have a guaranteed 10 minute break if you work 5 hours or more, plus you get a free break drink (it's the only freebie you'll ever get out of those cheapskates). The product is great.
Cons
The pay is very low unless you've worked there forever. Employees are not allowed to talk to customers or each other, you can even be written up for anything more than a "Hi, how are you today?" Managers can be very hostile and tend to bully employees they don't like. You have very specific job duties while on shift, if you try to deviate from those duties or help your fellow employees with their duties you will get in trouble. They don't appreciate employees who want to go above and beyond or learn all the roles quickly--obedience is the most important quality to them. Employee turnover is very high because people get discouraged quickly by the hostile environment.
