Pros

There are many opportunities for advancement, and you are encouraged to move every few years. There is a lot of training available (if your department allows it) and you can work towards another degree while you work there.

Cons

Your experience will depend entirely on your boss - there is not a specific culture prevalent throughout the company. You can be blocked from moving as well. Expect disappointment from the first day. Cummins has a great one week onboarding program - but once you start your actual job, your boss will not be prepared to great you and you will spend a ridiculous amount of time waiting for him/her to find time in his schedule to give you any attention or guidance.

Pros

Work from home, flexibility, paternal leave policy, pension plan

Cons

Pay is low and has not kept up with inflation. Leadership is only DEI hires, and they do not seem to understand the actual work being done. They are making life miserable for employees by adding unnecessary KPI's and performance tracking to make a name for themselves within the senior leadership. No loyalty for employees, they will let you go in the blink of an eye if the business struggles.
