Crunchyroll has many engaged employees and nice people. The core issue is a leadership team that is self-serving and cynical.
Cons
There is zero regard for employee well-being or psychological safety. Leadership is incentivized to meet ambitious growth goals and does not have the bandwidth or desire to invest in employee culture or development- anyone besides their executive cohort.
