Pros
There are some advantages working for CCI. As a small company there is almost no oversight/micromanagement. An industrious employee can use this to grow, especially coupled with the sweet tuition reimbursement program. You wear a lot of hats, and there is a lot of opportunity to do other things if you are motivated. Benefits are good for a small company. The four 10hr days are fantastic. My Sr. Vice President is a legitimately good person and very fair. Reasonable unofficial comp. time practices allow a lot of flexibility.
Cons
Old-school management unwilling to change. A lot of under qualified personnel in the ranks due to lazy/last-minute hiring practices. As a result underperforming existing employees receive promotions. Lower level management leaves a lot to be desired, also unqualified. A lot of turnover with worker-bees, in part to the nature of the work. Also a lot of turnover at the VP level as well. You will get overworked unless you develop a spine, then things are fine. Not a lot of upward mobility. Training is non-existent, and the OJT is insufficient.
