Coworkers. The other teachers are awesome. your direct managers are great and so understanding. bonding with the kids and planning lessons is fun. Building relationships with parents and families makes you feel like your job matters.

Low pay for the work you do. you’re caring for someone’s entire world for 8+ hours a day and the parents are paying an arm and a leg to have them enrolled. Corporate only cares about money & enrollment, they don’t provide enough food for the children. they hire people at low wages so they can have a body for ratios. they have their dependable crew and they are awesome but the revolving door of short term teachers doesn’t end. they don’t provide training. training is done on your own time and at your own cost. Who knows when or if you’ll get a break and you will likely always be working overtime.
