Pros

Meet interesting people and being able to experience the fun of being a kid again.

Cons

I've only been to the Tualatin, Happy Valley, and Westmoreland branch. The Tualatin branch is probably the nicest and most organized out of all three. People are friendly and willing to help. The Happy Valley branch is nice but disorganized. There's a lot of back n' forth and not much communication. Westmoreland branch is the worst branch I have ever worked for. Not only are they not welcoming, but I have never felt so isolated from the staff members and director. They are gossipy and don't work as a team. The place is grungy, shady, and dirty. If I had a kid I would never bring my child to the Westmoreland branch. There needs to be a lot of work done with the consistency between branches. It's difficult for teacher aides to find their way in a different environment.

Pros

I have worked for Creative Minds for 4 years and I have to say each year is better because management offers more benefits and offers paid holidays, generous time off, I make a great wage, get a 100% child care discount for my daughter (as a parent, I love Creative Minds because of the fun, social environment and amazing teachers!). The sense of community is fantastic and I love all my co workers and families. Even upper management is into making sure I am happy and they spoil us. I worked at a large day care center prior to Creative Minds. My old daycare center was cheap and stingy with us. Creative Minds makes sure we have everything we need to succeed. If I ever have any concerns, they listen to me. Communication is the key, they always have an open door to me. I highly recommend as not only a teacher but a parent!

Cons

The snow days practically killed me but I know it wasn't Creative Minds fault. They cant control the weather. They offered a paid day and extra days to get in more hours to make up for the lost wages. They offer paid holidays and are adding more for us teachers. This is way more than any other center out there so I am happy and excited to continue my career with them.
