Pros

Fantastic content and vision. Sales department is quite a bit more supportive than editorial. Solid opportunity for beginning sales professionals and marketing/editorial interns.

Cons

It's a culture that looks fun from the outside looking in but disappointing while you're in the thick of it. Most editorial employees are grossly underpaid -- especially if you're a woman. Management is disorganized; complete lack of corporate quality control; age discrimination (older employees who are not in management tend to max out their possibilities and become ostracized); complete lack of human resources and employee support (unless you're personal buddies with the bosses); cliquishness; backhanded practices; inappropriate gossip and one-sided opinions between superiors and employees; insidious, manipulative overtime coercion; employee burnout.
