Pros
The co-workers (not leadership) are a hard-working, compassionate, and dedicated group of people that make sure that each of their team members are successful and are always willing to help each other out. The company does offer some benefits, including PTO, profit sharing and health insurance. There currently is not any type of retirement or 401k benefits available.
Cons
The environment is pretty toxic and not very inclusive or diverse. The entire corporate staff is all caucasian. I witnessed several instances of racism, sexual harrasment, misogyny, and homophobia. These instances were reported to human resources and were never addressed or "swept under the rug." Once you are given a position, there is very little room for advancement since the headquarters staff is so small. Salaries for most of the positions are well below industry standards. Leadership can be very "flighty" and will make decisions or change course at a moment's notice without thoroughly thinking about the ramifications or potential harm to the company as a whole. The culture has a very serious "conservative, Christian" vibe. It is best to keep your religious choices/political opinions to yourself if you want to get along with everyone. A lot of the staff attends the owner's church and are given preferential treatment over other employees that do no attend that church. This is not a typical review from a disgruntled employee. I just do not want someone else to blindly accept a job with this company without knowing exactly what the work environment is like. Avoid this company at all costs.
