Pros

1. Good Compensation considering the location is Kolkata. 2. Flexibility of Work timings and WFH.

Cons

1. The recent bonus policy is a joke. Those who are not familiar, employees are supposed to return bonus received for the last 8 months when they resign. Considering a large part of salary is bonus, this is a huge chunk of money that you have to return. What's even worse is bonus is paid for your work you have done in last 6 months. So if I did something extra ordinary in Jan, 2020 and I would receive the bonus on July 2020. If I decide to leave the company in Feb 2021, I would have to return the bonus I received in July, 2020. 2. Tech stack is outdated. There is a lack of proper Engineering Processes at work. Management lacks proper work Management. 3. A lot of office politics, but that has reduced in last couple of years.

Pros

I really enjoy working for this company. One of the best parts is the diversity of work I get to do—working across departments and supporting the C-Suite executives while also taking on event planning, HR, marketing, and more. The people here are amazing—hardworking, kind, and incredibly capable. There isn’t much bureaucracy, so things are very fast-paced, which I find exciting. There are also great perks, like quarterly staff happy hours, holiday gifts, free lunches when in the office, and activities planned by the Fun Committee (like a step challenge this past summer that almost everyone participated in). My manager has also been very supportive, even providing me with professional coaching sessions, which have been invaluable for my growth.

Cons

This company moves fast, and so does everyone in it. It’s not explicitly expected, but the culture often makes it challenging to maintain a healthy work-life balance. You need to be proactive about taking breaks or asking for help when things get too hectic. Additionally, there aren’t a lot of clear processes or policies in place, which can be frustrating—especially for new employees. The employee handbook is outdated, and it would be helpful to have more structured resources to answer common questions.
