Pros
A lot of good coworkers and friendships. It was a fun environment at times.
Cons
Management, typical for any hospital. Could probably go on about this topic. Some managers come off as disrespectful and seem to not care about the employees. Just an opinion, but an opinion that is shared by many. Department also fired most of the EKG techs and expected the CNA's to do EKG's without compensation. We didn't have to do all of the EKG's, but at the time before I left the department there were plenty of nurses delegating this task to me despite the countless other things I was expected to do. If covenant paid more, this would be okay. This was not a hospital wide thing, but an example of how aides are given so many tasks but not compensated for additional tasks that they are assigned (on top of what is already expected of them).
