You are the first line and set the impression and tone for the guest. No day is exactly like another because people arriving are from everywhere and they keep your job interesting.

Cons

If you have a team member that is falling short of expectation you will have to work twice as hard to maintain a great first impression for the guest.

Pros

The guests were always lovely, and made the job fulfilling.

Cons

Management was awful, no support from them. Favoritism, enabling one person something but not the other. No structure; expectations and rules change by the day. Upper management turns a blind eye to misconduct and abuse of all forms. No loyalty from the company to its employees. Wage theft, illegal time clock adjustments, sexual harrassment from superiors, hostile work environment, all condoned by upper management.
